We offer uplifting in-studio sessions. We believe each one of us is completely full and fully complete.

At Laya Yoga we believe everyone has a potential to understand themselves through the union of mind, body and soul in relation to the environment. We guide our students to experience yoga through physical postures and beyond, including meditation, mantras, yoga philosophy and mindful movement.

You might be joining us on the mat for relaxation. For strength. Flexibility. To nurture your soul. We acknowledge the unique quest in each individual, offering a range of classes, where we give customised adjustments to each yogi as needed.

I had been looking for an authentic yoga studio nearby for some time so was so thrilled to have found Laya Yoga recently. Jay & all of the teachers are so incredibly skilled, patient and knowledgeable... Our story

The seeds of Laya Yoga were planted more than 15 years ago. Laya Yoga Founder Jaymala Sharma began sharing the wisdom received from her grandfather – a virtuous Yogi.

A student always, she continues to learn from enlightened teachers and masters from India, US and Australia.

In March 2019, Jaymala began sharing the joys of yoga with the beautiful Point Cook community. She and her family opened their hearts and their home yoga studio. Residents had the option of a range of classes from yin, slow flow, and even hot yoga - guided by a group of caring, skilled, friendly yoga teachers who joined Jaymala as we continued to nurture and develop our community.

In 2020, we widened the community with a new, bigger studio.

Their guidance has helped me in many ways, enjoying how to savour each thankful breath, calm my angry spirits within, appreciate and love myself and others around me more.
